Is is worth it installing kodi?

Hi, I installed the nextPVR as a backend for KODI, but I noticed, that nextpvr comes with its own user interface that is kind of similar to kodi. So is it even worth it for me, to use kodi, if i only want to watch and record live tv? Should i simply only use the nextpvr interface? thanks

If NextPVR meets your needs, I'd just use it's UI.

The only problem i have so far, is that when I set two movies to be recorded via the EPG, both on different channels and at the same time, the nextpvr does not report conflict, even though it's not possible to record both of those movies at the same time. Any solution to that? Otherwise it would be perfect.

It'll only be letting you do that if it's possible.

When it comes to digital channels, they often transmit multiple channels on the same frequency. NextPVR has a feature called 'multi-record' where it can record multiple channels from the same frequency with a single card. I'm sure this is what you're seeing.

You'd find attempts to record from channels on other frequencies will report a conflict.

Do the recordings work and are you able to watch the recordings of the movies? Plus, please update your location to something meaningful ... a country is fine. It helps because each country has its own peculiarities for TV. Thanks.
