jksmurf Wrote:Hi Martin I'm trying http://xnewa.netai.net again in Kodi on the Rpi2 but there seems to currently be nothing in the directory? It worked ok at the time I was checking it on the PC a few weeks ago.

What do the Kodi logs show about connecting to the repo? I had to put a real page up because I think that is why my last account had problems.

You would need to wait to see if it finds it.

OK. I did it again. Waited quite a while. What am I missing?

You just didn't wait long enough After a while you would see the check.

Martin - I let it run for near an hour with the page open on the xnewa repository site as shown in the jpg. Surely that's long enough?

If you are worried you could check the Kodi Addons database with a sqlite viewer (repo table) to see when the repo was last checked.

I "think" I might know what went wrong (but do please let me know if I was doing it right).

I am using the method in this post #5 but with http://xnewa.netai.net as the link to navigate from (see pic)

Going into add-ons I expected to go into http://xnewa.netai.net:80 and then be able to just navigate to /repository.nextpvr.kodi-plugins/ . I wanted this method of install so I get the updates.

As this didn't work, I have now added this:

http://xnewa.netai.net AND added this repository.nextpvr.kodi-plugins as the REMOTE PATH.

After that I could update the repository from the zip file and run XNEWA.

Sorry for the confusion; /repository.nextpvr.kodi-plugins/ just didn't come up by itself - which seems odd.

[SQL Database added for completeness]

That makes sense for installing the repo via http the first time, but for automatic updating of the plugin itself it wouldn't have made a difference.
