Had a SSD fail and had to completely rebuild my main Kodi box. I use Kodi for the front end and NextPVR for the backend for live TV and recording. I also had it set up with a menu option to open x-newa and another to just do directly to the web client. I manged to find the 2.4.9 zip, install the repository and get x-newa setup but I can't for the life of me get the menu option set back to go directly to the web client.

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I did read the "read me", that's not what I'm trying to do. I guess I didn't explain very well.
menu
What I want to do is set up a favorite or shortcut on the main menu that will take me directly to the Web client and bypass the x-newa initial interface. I don't want to have Kodi directly/immediately open x-newa on startup.

Sorry I just read the subject. x-newa has a configuration option to go to web client. Adding menu options wouild be the skin's option but Confluence and Esturary don't allow that so you need to add favourites.

And there lies my problem, I can't figure out how open the Web Client directly. I figured out how to make a 'favorite" to x-newa by editing the "favorites.xml" but the Web Client only has me baffled.

Code:
<favourite name="X-NEWA" thumb="C:\Users\kodi\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\script.xbmc.x-newa\icon.png">RunScript("script.xbmc.x-newa")</favourite>

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

In x-newa settings first screen Autostart web client.

You don't need to edit favorites.xml just use the Add to Favorites option on the Add-on. If you are using Estuary switch to Confluence and then switch back.

Thanks, I completely missed the "auto-start web client" setting and thanks for the tip to switch to confluence. I'm using Transparency! which doesn't show the "add to favorites" in the context menu which was part of my problem.
