Channel export for IPTV

I don't recommend using NextPVR as an IPTV server for another IPTV server in this, since it wont know about the number of tuners etc, so wont know there are going to be conflicts when you schedule too many simultaneous recordings etc.

You could try going into the IPTV device, and clicking the 'import' button, and try using the URL http://<ipaddress>:8866/channels. It might work.

Ok, I'll try that. I'm very aware of the pitfalls using two or more npvr systems this way, but it is the only way to (sort of) make npvr work with remote tuners. The other npvr-computers will not be used for neither live-tv nor recordings so will essentially always be available for the computer using the iptv device at all times.

It imports channels, but it does not add a unique identifier to each channel, so if I try to ope a secont stream on the iptv device it simply changes channel on the existing stream.

Sorry, that's just the way that URL works at this point.

You might have to download the contents from url, save it as an m3u file, and edit it to make your own URLs etc, then import from your edited m3u file.

Yeah, that's a better solution than typing all by hand How exactly do I download the content from the url and save it?

Just try viewing it in your browser. It'll probably download it to a file automatically.
