Organize recordings without Schedules Direct?

You might want to take a look at ImageGrabLite. It's a utility that will grab images and rename the file and update the database with a new file name that will include SE information. Not much use for it now since SD got integrated into NexPVR. I use to use it to get the file name to be compatible with Plex till I switched over to Schedule Direct.

Amen, I actually started Schedules Direct when I setup with Nextpvr very quickly start with free trial then pay 2 months but I will pay $25 when it approaching to expiring. I agree with y'all that stick with Schedules Direct because it's useful and save time. Let people handle it for you by paying/supporting them.

I use zap2it and get the season and episode data. I believe you need the -D option. Options are case sensitive.

-D = include extra program details = 1 extra http request per program!
