Does this patch work for all tuners (e.g HDHR for OTA and SD Prime channels). I'm having the same problem with tuners not releasing channels or tuner status not updating.

First, never apply a patch from an old version of NextPVR as they get rolled into the new version. Your problem is more likely not related so you need a new thread with a description of how you see the provblem. Based on your setup I expect your problem is in Kodi so you need to get post in the Kodi sub forum and also add the Kodi logs.
