keep server awake when watching live tv via npvr app

hi, i use this batch code with the following command
cd c:\
shutdown /h

i only use this becasue it works well. as windows 10 power and sleep timer all over the place and buggy.

is there away i can put something in this command to keep the sever awake whilst watching tv via the npvr app. I will start watching something then the sever turns off because it thinks the systems is at idle, the bat file is set to sleep on idle. this works well with scheduled recordings and does not sleep whilst recording. i have set up wake on lan via the bois and in windows.

OK, i couldn't make much sense of that quoted forum page. if i was to open NScriptHelper on idle via bat file ? i do allready have that file in that directory mentioned.

The nscripthelper -isinuse command is used to report if NextPVR Recording Service is busy and the "For tokens" command puts the response into a batch file variable.

OK,sorry for late reply. I'm a little confused. Doesn't take much! . How would I use this command to keep my pc a wake when using and android device

Live TV should be handled. Like recording and your server should stay awake without scripting. You probably should duplicate the problem and then send the logs. If it happens while paused that is a different problem.

The problem I had was the client started the server using WOL but often the server went to sleep before I was ready to watch or if I paused for too long. I ended up using software called "Smartpower". It takes over Sleep from Windows and it has a range of options you can define which prevent sleep. Unfortunately NextPVR can no longer prevent sleep so I use processor usage to prevent sleep during record and presence of client IP addresses to prevent sleep during play back and during pauses. It has worked for me for several years!
