how to configure RemoteRecorder Plugin to use remote NextPVR instance?

I have two separate devices running NextPVR on my network. I would like to remotely access the tuners on one machine on the other machine through the NetworkRecorder Plugin. On the documentation for the plugin it says it supports remote instances I just can not seem to get it to work. I followed the steps to install the plugin and create a NetworkRecorder.xml file(attached) and it installs fine. What is the next step to configuring this? I have went to the tuner and hit add channel and typed in the name but don't know what to add for the source and tuning boxes. Anything I try to add does not get saved. Any help would be appreciated

There is no need to use the plug-in any longer just use the other tuner instances as IPTV devices.

Can you point me to documentation for accessing a remote Nextpvr server as a multi-channeled IPTV source?

There is none. What specifically are you trying to achieve and be aware that NextPVR is personal (one home) use only.

Perhaps I need to learn more about the details of personal use. I have a V5 server running at my home for access to OTA television and an h-264 encoder where I encode family video, etc. I'm trying to help my son install a nextpvr server at his home for his family use. But I would like to let him access my encoder channel, where the video has been transcoded to a more acceptable bitrate. Accessing my server as an IPTV source seemed like a reasonable way to do this.

For family videos it is not really IPTV then it is would an m3u of your recordings. Wouldn't it be easier just to share them on OneDrive or Google Drive?
