Video is transcoded on the NextPVR Server machine before it is sent to the Web App ... Video is not trancoded before being sent to the NextPVR desktop client (nextpvr.exe).

It might be that the NextPVR Server machine cannot provide enough CPU to the transcoding process.

yep, that'd do it. On a lower spec machine, stick to the desktop app for viewing.

Intel Atom usually goes together with Intel HD Graphics, which can be used for hardware acceleration of transcoding in V5 version.
Maybe worth a try?

The Intel Atom's have been around a lot longer then HD Graphics. I think the 510 is too old I think you need Bay Trail or newer Atom CPU.

Agre ebut I have a more powerful machine to do both record and deliver web stream without issue in a cellar. I will keep my 2 old Atoms for extra recording and desktop app to view them. it is a cheap reader for me attached to a TV. I will move all my other machines to W10 and NextPVR 5; I checked my AppleTV was fine with the V5 server.
