Hi,

I have a Ceton infinitv 4 and I can add my tuners and scan for channels but when I auto merge there are channels with the same name that I want to keep separate. I could one by one merge the channels or rename the duplicates but there are 900 channels and about 275 duplicate names I want to keep separate.

Is there a way of just sequentially merging the channels? Maybe in SQLite or xml?

How is the merged channel information stored in the channel table?

Thanks,
David

After a channel has been merged ...

There is one one row in the ... channel ... table for that channel and multiple rows in the ... channel_mapping ... table with one row per capture source (i.e tuner).

Recordings, for example, are scheduled to be recorded on an instance of a channel identified by ... channel_source_oid ... and ... channel_oid ...

thanks! I figured it out now. Just had to copy the channel oids from the first tuner to the other tuners in the channel mapping table.david
