I have 2 pcs running npvr (t330 and ml30) I just tried passing the m3u output of t330 to ml30 and the channel numbers are not consistent (ml30 shows channel 2 on t330 as 6762). because of this auto-map does not work. I have attached a screenshot. Is there any way to fix this so that automap works. Thanks.

The m3u export is primarily for feeding into VLC where is nice to be able to see the channel number and the name together. It was not really designed to export for another NextPVR instance which is truly an edge case, but you could manually edit the file to channel name only. I suspect two global search and replaces would do it but they are sllighly different depending if you NextPVR instance has the tvg-id field or not.

that was a good idea. I got it working, here are the steps

1 install notepad++ and xampp

2. download .m3u and edit with np++

3. search for the regex: "\d+ - " (without quotes)

4. replace all with blank and save

5. copy .m3u file to xampp htdocs/npvr folder

6. add m3u file to nextpvr using xampp host path.

7. automap

8. update epg.
