Intermittently requires me to hit Stop, then Resume, to get recording to restart.

In addition, sometimes when stopping play I get a black screen, and have to stop NextPVR in Task Manager.

I have the exact same problem; I am using Windows 11, NextPVR 5.2.7(220410)

An additional problem with the current build is voice and video syncing that seems to come and go, I have tried changing the Decoders every way possible which helps once in a while but does not last, usually can be fixed by reinstalling NextPVR. But then not too long after (an hour, a day, etc) after the reload the syncing problems show up again.

All these little problems have cropped up since the current build was implemented, did not have these problems with the previous build.

Do you use closed captions? This does cause the hang on exit issue so if you don't try sub's solution https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid567426

I don't follow exactly what you mean. Combined with the title, I assume you mean you've pushed pause, and soon after tried to press play and nothing has happened?

Does it matter how long you've paused?

Is this live tv or recording playback?

Found your replies, forum software again not emailing me.

Just renamed the file.  Will see what that does.

On the pause, you identified exactly what the issue is.  I then have to hit stop, then resume.  I have not timed it, but it's not extended periods.  Less than a minute, or less than 2 minutes.  I'd say it's 100% recording playback.

I can see your account has it's "Default thread subscription mode" set to "Do not subscribe", so it's not going to send you message about replies unless you actively tell it to send you notifications.

Since the fix kills subtitles, it won't work for me.
