Channel scanning fails

Having a problem with scanning channels.  I have had NPVR working but there have been channels that have been omitted in scans that I kept attempting to get scanned by retrying but now this keeps occurring.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything including .NET but to no avail.  Keep getting this same error at the end of the scan.  Frustrating to say the least.

Running an iMac 2017 with Ventura 13.2 and a Elgato/Ganiatech Netstream 4SAT.  Version 6.1.1.221106

Do you have a Windows or Linux system you can try this on? We also need the zipped logs to help you further?

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the reply. Have a RasberryPi with Ubuntu installed that I bought to play around with.  I'll give it a go on that so it might be a few days before I can answer.  The thing was that it was working at one point and I just was doing a lot of Channel scanning when things went south.  All logs I have attached.

Sorry to be so long responding, having issues with installing NPVR on ubuntu.  Also having issues with ubuntu re remote desktop access.

Issue with NPVR is after downloading NPVR (curl https://nextpvr.com/nextpvr-helper.deb -O), install fails with:
Download is performed unsandboxed as root, as file /home/mike/nextpvr-helper.deb couldn´t be accessed by user _apt - pkgAcquire:: Run (13: Permission denied)

That should be just a warning as I posted here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid575980 If you don't like it
chmod 777 nextpvr-helper.deb should remove the warning.

Also you wrote remote deskop must people use ssh to talk to the RPi.

New development: I found that I was getting the error only when I scanned all 4 ports on receiver at the same time. Scanning a single port worked correctly and saved the channels. I'll work on doing that and then copying that port's channels to the remaining ports.
