Hello, 

I've had this setup for a while.  Recently I turned off the server because I was installing a UPS, after that I checked that things were working and I thought they were fine.  Now it seems nothing was recording for a bout a week. The install was probably at that time or the week before.  The only other new thing I did today was re-run the installer.

When looking today the device was not actually there, turned out to be an odd issue where at have to turn the machine off, not restart and the HD PVR will come back, my issue.  That was probably why a recording on the 7th didn't go because it couldn't find the crossbar.

What I noticed is that despite the EPG being full, the device reporting in and working, the schedule is empty. Reoccuring is listing things and I had a show coming up that it should have recorded. Looking in the guide it actually tells me I can cancel the show or the series, or watch. Picture Included.  I've included the logs but please excuse me as I've not tried to look at them, kind of having a bad head day at the moment.

You restarted the server too often so we don't see the logs for and EPG update. It's not clear what you EPG source is either. As you say your HDPVR drivers should probably be reinstalled and if you are using it but your HDHR drivers are also not installed correctly.

Ah, I didn't know the logs weren't running logs or the .number logs wouldn't have it.  
I'll update again after tomorrow (4/14/2024 USA), I should have had recordings run then. 

I always try trouble shooting steps before I post, but didn't think to do logs first. My first thing was to get the device back. It's just a bug with the device, sometimes it goes missing, sometimes it runs for months.  Right now the device is fine. 

My source is for the EPG is XMLTV, I put in the screenshot as my thinking was that this wasn't a Channel OID change, dissociating reoccring recordings from the current channel, as it was telling me the show is set to record by asking me to cancel it or the whole series. I just dug around in a copy of the data base, one of the expected shows today is set to record on the OID of the associated channel.

Okay, it is back.  

I guess I was expecting to see failed recordings - device missing and not just nothing.  My fault.  

I remember all the way back tot he GBPVR days that I would always tell myself not to update unless I had nothing recording until the next day as the pending recordings would get wiped out until the next day.  Anyway to make it redo whatever that process?

If NextPVR fails to record a show there will be some kind of logging in the log and on the recording itself. If tuners aren't configured properly (and yours aren't working) they may get disabled on startup so so recordings may not even get scheduled, and I'm not sure of the logging in this case.
