Jellyfin not showing artwork

Hello,

I have my NextPVR server running and playing with the Jellyfin client plugin.
The artwork taken from the EPG seems to work fine in nextpvr but it is not showing at the Jellyfin client, whereas the rest of information from the EPG is showing fine.

Am I missing something? Is this not implemented on the plugin side?

In addition, I can filter programs by Movies, Sports, etc. Is there a way of selecting which folder nextpvr will record to based on those filters?

I only enabled EPG artwork downloading in Jellyfin if you use Schedules Direct and Spain is a supported country so you might want to try the trial. The reason for this is Jellyfin will try to cache images for every show in the EPG every day plus it deletes old ones from the cache. Most EPG contain a lot of shows not on standard systems like TVDB and TMDB and the lookups will take a lot of time for any reasonably sized EPG.

In NextPVR you can configure recording directories and when you create a recording you can specify the folder in most clients but not using the Jellyfin. That API function doesn't seem to be available. If you create it in Jellyfin you can change the directory in NextPVR web or Kodi.

Thanks Martin,

I mapped some channels with Schedules Direct on the NextPvr side but still the artwork is not showing on the jellyfin side. Is there any thing else to do?
I also tried adding the Schedules Direct EPG on Jellyfin but I cannot map any channel manually.
I guess I am missing something?

Did you rerun the EPG task it takes a while to load them.

I updated on both sides the EPG.
Here you can see two instances of the same channel, one mapped with regular EPG in NextPVR and the one below mapped with Schedules Direct.

As you can see on the jellyfin side, there is no artwork for neither channels

Using Scheduled Direct in Jellyfin won't help. There is a NextPVR config.xml setting for Schedules Direct I can't recall what it is but you need to restart Jellyfin to load it.

Edit the settting is <ArtworkFromSchedulesDirect>true</ArtworkFromSchedulesDirect>

If the channel is IPTV and not mapped to SD then your chance of art is much slimmer.

The setting is true and reloaded Jellyfin several times, still no artwork showing.
Regarding the set-up, I am using both servers on separate docker images, is the jellyfin plugin trying to access any directory within the nextpvr image?
Maybe I need to link both images through a volume?
Otherwise, where is the jellyfin plugin getting the artwork from?

Images are passed by http from NextPVR. Until you post the zipped NextPVR and Jellyfin debug logs after an EPG update, I won't be able to help.
