Consistent Recordings

For some reason I can't get Adam 12 and Dragnet to consistently record and I don't know why. Do you see any clues in my logs? I set them for any time any channel and I believe to keep like 12 but I never seem to record new ones and I just deleted old ones going back to November?

Your provider is reporting error (406) Not Acceptable you would need to check with them what that means.

Can you show me where you see that in the log so I don't have to ask next time?

Just open nrecord.log.1 with a text editor and search for 406 then Google what HTTP error 406 means.

Thanks, I wrote my list provider but of course they're innocent. This is a puzzler...

I changed to a new list and still can't get Adam 12 or Dragnet to even schedule for recurring recording on any channel (I don't think I was descriptive enough in my previous post).

In the attached logs, I was able to get Adam 12 to schedule from the guide by selecting record once. I then went to the scheduler and saw it pending so I clicked on it and changed record once to "Record Series all episodes etc..." then hit save and it left the pending list. I immediately pulled the logs after that.

Why won't it let me schedule those shows for whenever they come on and whatever channel they come on?

Is there a way to refresh the database? It's worked for sometime now, so I'm wondering if it thinks these are repeats?

It is working but if you delete a recording or have it saved it won't let it rerecord it.

Your answer confuses me, I don't know what you mean by delete??? This is a picture of the season 6 folder but I want it to rerecord regardless if that's possible?

I do see it if I change pending to recurring on the scheduler screen, the problem is it never records them.

I also have others like Taxi that are in the same boat, but it does record them each night.

PS... This is why I thought there was a database somewhere thinking I still have these files on the system.

Go to the Setting page in the NextPVR server. Scroll the bottom of the page in the "Recording Settings" section. And then uncheck the box next to "Avoid Duplicate Recordings Where Possible".

Then NextPVR will schedule every episode matching the rule--regardless of whether or not it was previously deleted or cancelled.
