Increase scan channels timeout?

I have an issue running NextPVR on Ubuntu where one of the frequencies is failing to scan.

I've tested it using dvbv5-scan and a 30 sec timeout and it does then scan the channels OK.

The issue isn't signal strength as the other frequencies are a similar or even lesser strength, it just seems that the service on the problem frequency is slower to enumerate(?).

Hi,

nrecord.log is in the attached ZIP. Freq 219500000 is the one not scanning

I've also included two files with output from the dvbv5-scan tool
- dvbv5-scan.txt (no timeout), also fails on that freq
- dvbv5-scan-T5.txt (5 secs timeout), works with extended timeout

Thanks I would have preferred the full logs since this only has limited logging but I can tell you the default is 6 so the frequency is unstable In the next version there already an environment variable DVBMAXWAITSEC override but I can't be sure without the full logs to know if that would work.

Is there another log file? This is the only one I am aware of and it's from when NextPVR starts up until the failed scan.

Three are lots, the documented method of getting logs is to go to the main setting page, download the zip and attach the zip.

Ahh, got it. Here's the logs from my attempt just now. This time a 226500000 freq isn't scanning but 219500000 freq is (sigh) otherwise it's the same issue.

OK I didn't see what I expected but I think the environement override will work next time around

That being said this time 219500000 was found so it a stability or signal issue and quality may not be that great.
