Nextpvr unable to open channels

Hello,
Its been a long time being on here. I have an issue with Nextpvr not opening channels. I have upgraded to the latest version of Nexttpvr. Logs included. Thank you for you time Bruce

The error you are getting is
---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x00002AFA): This is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server did not receive a response from an authoritative server. If you have a VPN turn it off and try again. If problems continue you need to PM sub or me your URL and username and password Martin

So the screenshot gave you the explanation. You Avast antivirus has blacklisted the URL of your provider saying it is a malicious web site. You either need to change providers or if you trust it, research how to set an exclusion in Avast.
You asked in the other thread if it was a false positive, IPTV providers are fringe operations and who knows what methods they might use to make money. See some of the case studies on this link https://www.blog.brightcoding.dev/2025/1...phic-hacks AI will only make it worse. Caveat emptor. Martin |
