I've been using the Platinum Skin mostly and switching to the blue skin ever now and again.

One other thing I noticed today. The Resume function doesn't seem to be working quite right anymore. I have mine set to ignore 1 minute at the beginning and 5 minutes at the end. If I go into a video for even a couple seconds, the resume window will pop up. Likewise, if I jump out within the last 5 minutes, when I press play again, the resume window pops back up.

yeah it took me a while to get use to his accent Smile

um what is the exact filename, and the exact episode lookup you are doing? (its probably just stuck in a infinite loop) can you post your gbpvr.exe.log file (oh first put the debugging mode in the my vids config to "MAX"). oh and are you doing an episode browse or lookup?

the resume cut off, is just for displaying which movies are paused, it doesnt effect the resume points at all. so if a movie has been paused at time index 00:00:05 (5 seconds) and the cut off is 00:05:00 (5mins) it wont show up in the "Pause Movies" but when you go to play the movie, gbpvr will ask you if you wish to resume the movie (this is handled by gbpvr internally by using the database, for playlists (well some modes) i do delete these entries in the database so the window doesnt show up, but in general i leave this alone).

sorry, my bad :o . For some reason, I could have sworn the resume cut off at one time affected the paused display and the way resume actually worked within the set cut off time. Amazing how memory and reality tend to disagree sometimes. Outside of that, My Vids is working like gangbusters for me. Haven't found anything that doesn't work like it used to in the latest version you put up.

Well, now I'm doing a ton of lookups after setting logging to max & I'm not replicating any of the issues. I wonder if TV.com had internal web problems or something. Just in case, I'm attaching the log from when the problems arose (logging level error) and the one from today (logging level max). I'll leave the logging on max for now in case the problem rears up again.

Before, I was just trying to do a series lookup for House using the string "House". I hadn't gotten to the point of browsing for or looking up episodes yet; I was just trying to get poster images for my show directories first.

yeah it just looks like there must have been an issue with tv.com, theres an timeout set to 2minutes (use to be 45seconds, but i increased it) and the lookups are killed after that point, but thats not what caused the error either, so must be tv.com (good work man always blames his tools, well in this case not me Smile).

ill play around with house to see if i can get the same error.

and i probably remove this error message in final release
Code:
Encoding: text/html
6/26/2005 12:16:20 PM.734    VERBOSE    [2]    Error getting Encoding: text/html is not a supported encoding name.
Parameter name: name
6/26/2005 12:16:20 PM.734    VERBOSE    [2]       at System.Globalization.EncodingTable.internalGetCodePageFromName(String name)
   at System.Globalization.EncodingTable.GetCodePageFromName(String name)
   at System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding(String name)
   at MyVideosPlugin.MovieInfo.GetEncoding(HttpWebResponse response)
its shown just to much, handy for debugging, but not all that important.

if you need any help with the final version post it in the plugins/skins support forum not here (this thread should be considered closed).

ps i did make a couple of changes so you should all download my vids 4.1.0.0
