I wish...
I could change or add command shortcuts for each command--you know, like you can do with almost all modern computer games? For example, if I had my way, I would change the rewind shortcut from Ctrl-R to Ctrl-B, so that it corresponds with the "Previous Track" shortcut in Windows Media Player. Fast Forward (Ctrl-F) already does correspond, so why not rewind? That sort of thing.
BTW, sub...I've seen you post about "loving to make changes, if it meant a donation". How about you use http://www.fundable.org to gather donations for specific features (or groups of features) for GBPVR, sort of like a bounty system? That way, you'll get paid for your effort, and your effort will be directed toward what people are willing to pay for to get in GBPVR? I'd recommend taking some of the major TO-DO's, then making quick Fundraiser project sites for them on Fundable. It's free and easy, and if it gets you paid and these things made, it's gotta be worth it. I'm already trying it for a project of my own: http://www.fundable.org/groupactions/aibocam
Granted, I wasn't successful in my fundraiser, but if you set the buy-in at like $5, I bet you could get some money quickly. I'd personally be willing to pay $20 or so if it meant refining GBPVR to be competitive with a mainstream retail PVR interface.
