take your time sub! I wonder if you sometimes feel like your on a family vacation road trip and there's a couple thousand kids in the back of the station wagon constantly going "are we there yet?" and "I have to pee" (or uh.. maybe not... disregard)

I'll be the loser who asks: "oooh oooh does the upcoming release have rudimentary ATSC BDA driver support?!" (of course I recently nuked my windoze install and have been causing my brain to hemmorage with HD-3000 and knopmyth :eek: it actually wasn't that bad but I learned a lot, but i digress)

I admit I have not been reading all of the problem reports like you sub, but could you summarize what the multi-tuner bug is and possible the symptoms people may be having right now with it.

Its a bug that only affects some, but not all, multiple PVR150/PVR500 installations, and would result in one (or possible more) of those tuners producing zero by files.

Most people that have raised the issue on the forums have been pointed to a patched version of NativeUtilities.dll which works around the problem, but this was only a band-aid and would not work in a couple scenarios (pretty rare). I'm keen to get a real fix in place rather than using approached used by this patch.

Yes, it does.

It should support any ATSC card with fully compatible BDA drivers. Its only been tested against a couple of different Fusion devices.

i learned allot with knoppmyth and mythtv on a fedaro box too. i learn i needed to learn more before leaving the m$ world, that's why i'm here.

Get the Fusion 5. It'll be worth it. *wink* Just make sure your PC can handle HDTV. (See the specs in my sig for a good baseline.)
