From what I gather there are no settings the the gbpvr config utility that affect audio playback on an MVP right?
I have recorded some shows and movies that play back very nicely on my MVP.
(new setup here)
However I recorded, in its entirety, season 4 of the show "24" (for my wife) as it was on A&E yesterday and the day before.
When these shows play back the video is fine and the audio is fair. By fair I mean that its not awful but every so often a syllable or two are dropped when people are talking, things like that.
I assume this is just the quality of the signal while recording? or are there any settings that could improve audio here?
I plan on getting a new 250 gb drive and formatting with 64kb sectors for better playback and putting all the existing recording on there - that would help right?
