Re-installs itself?

I'm not sure if this is normal, but, everytime I start gbpvr it seems to install itself again. Same witn config. Am I missing something or is this normal? Thanks, and thanks for a great program.

No, not normal. Only the msi file should install gbpvr. Can you offer some more specifics so that we might direct you better?

If you check the computer's application event log, it will give more information.

Hi,

some times, I had the some problem. It seems, gbpvr does it, when any file is corrupt. After reinstalling, the mdb and config-files is backuped in the gbpvr-folder.

Some plugins make gbpvr "think" it's corrupt, and the installer starts, so you can run a repair.
Sometimes, the shortcuts get messed up, and the same thing can happen.
Just cancel it, if it's trying to install again, then right click the shortcut, select properties, and manually browse to the application.
This sets it up properly.
It's a fault in Microsoft's .msi installer (I think), and nothing wrong with gbpvr.

I believe I have found the problem.. For some reason, any icons weren't pointing to gbpvr.eve. I just pinned the file to my start menu and it works fine.

I used to have this problem when I would remove the GBPVR shortcut group from the root of the programs menu. (I have my other TV related stuff grouped in a submenu). This would sometimes cause a re-install and was a serious PITA.

My solution was to just mark the folder as "hidden". It won't show up in your programs list this way but GBPVR doesn't wig out thinking they're gone.
