1. Channel Editing
I've encountered a problem in 94.8 with changes to the GBPVR database. Zap2It has this habit of adding new channels to my lineup when they add them to their system. And then the next time the automatic EPG update occurs those channels show up in the EPG listing.

I found this today and went into config and tried to uncheck them in the Capture Source for my satellite interface. When I finished the system stopped responding and after about 30 seconds it rebooted by itself. It then restarted and before the GBPVR main menu appears it reboots again. It does this three times and then the main menu appears and the system works again. But the channels are still there; a check of the capture source shows them to still be checked so they were never disabled before the system rebooted. This did not occur in 93.10

2. Channel Up/Down Problem
I've found since 94.8 that if I use the channel up/down to browse in Live TV (NOT the guide) after a 10-15 channel changes the system stops responding all together. The LiveTV display becomes a series of freeze frames, the audio goes away and the system stops responding to the remote. The only recovery is TaskManager and end the GBPVR process. This is new to me and did not occur in 93.10.

I installed 94.8 inplace over an operating 93.10 installation.

Obviously title should read "Two problems new with 94.8"

Further to my #122 I have just noticed that when I use the web interface it causes the active LiveTV to become similarly choppy. In fact once I have the schedule display on screen if I change the the beginning time the LiveTV becomes choppy and the audio simply goes away. If I exit from LiveTV and re-enter everything is back to normal. Similary, searches in the web interface result in choppy LiveTV and failed audio. None of these happened in 93.10, and I've not seen anyone else comment on these so I think something has happened to my configuration in the upgrade. (I have done a defrag so that isn't it either.)

Were there changes to the GBPVR database that may not have run in the upgrade?

I think maybe I will have to reinstall from scratch (again --- it's getting tiresome having to reenter everything each time :-)

comskip with currently recording - if this option is selected and there has setting in comskip.ini to produce also VideoRedo file and afterwards you want to delete recording it leaves the directory with only VideoRedo file inside. Ideally it should delete also this file and remove directory also...

sub - remember I said that after upgrading my system from 92xx to 93xx I couldn't get back from Live TV with back/exit, but menu key worked. Now after upgrading to 948 also menu key will bring up the black and blank screen and nothing happens any more. :-(

TV Guide speed has increased noticeable in this release! Even if sub hasn't done anything directly to it, there has been some side effects on code that has increased the speed of entering and navigating Guide :-)
