Something's amiss here. I can't find a postprocessing.bat anywhere on my system. Where can I get the file or how to create it?

just create one using notepad, and save it with the filename "postprocessing.bat", no .bat file come with gbpvr, you just make them yourself, and if they are found, gbpvr calls them.

When saving in notepad, be sure that you save it using the " (quotation marks) around it, otherwise windows will save it as postprocessing.bat.txt and it's useless.
If you find that windows save's it that way, just rename it to postprocessing.bat in Explorer (right click on it, select rename).

what directory does postprocessing.bat need to go in? the GB-pvr directory?
also with showanalyzer and comclean what do i need to put in postprocessing.bat?

Postprocessing.bat goes in the /devnz/gbpvr folder.
To run SA and comclean in postprocessing, you would have this: Code: "c:\program files\dragon global\showanalyzer\showanalyzer.exe" %1

Yes, you can run SA from the processing tab, but this is NOT the same as postprocessing.bat.
PostProcessing.bat will be run immediately following a recording. You can set SA to run either during recording (registered version) or immediately after. If you want SA to run overnight for example, you should probably use Dirmon instead. The "Start conversion times" are for converting your recordings to avi, and have nothing to do with SA, comskip, comclean, or postprocessing.bat Because you're using comclean, I would not use SA in gbpvr's config, but I would set up postprocessing.bat as I have it above. If you have a registered version of SA, then run them in ParallelProcessing.bat instead.

Look in the forums at http://www.dragonglobal.org
There are lots of settings posted. You can also use Schoolhouse (part of SA) to find your own settings.

reboot Wrote:Look in the forums at http://www.dragonglobal.org yeah. i looked over there and tried some settings for USA and they didn't really work. i think i actually tried settings you posted over there ... well as long as your screen name is the same as over there. i also tried schoolhouse and didn't really have time to play around with the settings. basically looked like i was just losing the begining of seinfeld and west wing because it was a quick segment and then commercials and then back to the show. are those settings in seconds or something else? so for example 381 seconds for the longest possible commercial segment? |
