Remember where I was

Sometimes I'm watching a (long) recording and I have to go run an errand or something, causing me to stop it and remember where i stopped it so when i continue, i fast forward to that spot. Is there a way to create "bookmarks" in recordings where I can press one of the buttons at that 'bookmark' and set it. That way i can leave adn come back and go back to that bookmark... that's my newest wish.

Oh and I have another wish: i've put a couple of posts that no one has responded to Sad

... Would love it if someone responded to them Big Grin

Have you tried the 'prompt for resume' setting in the config app?

I only respond to those I have something to say about. I've seen you couple of unanswer posts about videolan. I dont use videolan, so dont have much I can add.

i'm under the impression that prompt for resume is for 'live tv' as opposed to recordings i've already made?? I will try that. Will it work for multiple recordings?

Sub, you've been great at responding... thanks... what do you use to watch your recordings streamed on the net? (i had also asked for advice on hardware that i'm waiting ...)

No, infact it is the opposite of your impression. Its only for recordings. It'll remember the positions of any recordings you watch.

This isnt something do. I work from home and all my recording are here, so I dont need to stream them across the net.

I didnt have anything I wanted to add to you 'new tuner' question. I'm sure others are capable of giving you this sort of information.
