Poor sound on PVR-150

After installing Hauppauge's latest beta driver (2.0.35.23257) for my PVR 150 I am getting poor sound quality on LIVE TV. Recorded sound seems to be ok. I have installed the latest GB-PVR version. The old version behaved similarly.

I have no problems with WinTV 2000 live play back.

Any help would be appreciated!

Audio playback through Total Recorder (Highcriteria) application caused the poor sound during live playback through GB-PVR. No problem was observed when audio playback was changed from the Contorl Panel to my Creative Sound Blaster system.
