Is this card capble of working with gbpvr. I didn't see anything to indicate it will or will not work. I have one that I'm not using in anything else so it is taking up space. I see it will work for Beyond, Media Center and Sarg. I tried to use the 150M and Haupp 150 but no luck there. Thanks

What do I need? You need to be running on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Your machine must also have the Microsoft .NET v1.1 runtime installed. For TV Tuner cards, currently supported are:

* Hauppauge PVR250, PVR250MCE, PVR350, PVR USB2, PVR150, PVR150MCE and the dual-tuner PVR500MCE
* ATI Theatre 550 Pro
* DVB-T and DVB-S devices with BDA drivers including:
o Hauppauge Nova-S
o Hauppauge Nova-T
o Hauppauge Nova-T USB2
o Pinnacle MediaCenter 300i
o Twinhan DVB-S
o Twinhan DVB-T
o Dvico Fusion DVB-T
o V-Box DTT-150
o Blockgold GDI DVB-T
o Lifeview FlyDVB-T
o ...and lots of others
* GO7007SB based capture devices, such as Plextor PX-M402U, Plextor PX-TV402U and Lifeview TV Walker

Doesnt that mean supports PVR-150?

or does the Plus actually use a diffrent driver?

This means GB-PVR supports the Hauppauge PVR150. The AverTV PVR150 is different hardware, made by a different manufacturer, which just happens to have a similar name (probably in an effort to try to sell more).

I've got an AverMedia PVR150 card working in with GBPVR. Although this card supports FM Radio I haven't figured that part out yet. I'm using the driver from the AverMedia web site which is in the file UltraTV1500MCE_Driver_2.1.0.41

The configuration I've used in direct.ini is as follows:

Code:
[AVerMedia AVerTV Video Capture (M113 with FM, NTSC)]
INIT_MODE=DEFAULT
INIT_MSP=0
SUPPORTS_FM_RADIO=1
BLACKBIRD=1
CONEXANT=1
FILTER_CROSSBAR=AVerMedia AVerTV Crossbar (AF2)
FILTER_CAPTURE=AVerMedia AVerTV Video Capture (AF2)
FILTER_TV_TUNER=AVerMedia AVerTV Tuner (AF2)
FILTER_TV_AUDIO=AVerMedia AVerTV TvAudio (AF2)
FILTER_ENCODER=AVerMedia AVerTV Encoder (AF2)
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_TUNER_IN=Video Tuner In
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_VIDEO_OUT=Analog Video
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_AUDIO_OUT=Analog Audio
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_IN=TVAudio In
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_OUT=TVAudio Out
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_TUNER_IN=Audio Tuner In
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_DECODER_OUT=Video Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_VIDEO_IN=Analog Video In
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_DECODER_OUT=Audio Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_AUDIO_IN=Analog Audio In
PIN_CAPTURE_CAPTURE_OUT=Capture
PIN_CAPTURE_656_OUT=656
PIN_ENCODER_656_IN=656
PIN_ENCODER_OUT=MPEG
PIN_WRITER_INPUT_IN=Input
