I am excited to try it. My reason- we have 2 new ota stations, neither have a guide. The Tablo won't record a live station unless it has a guide and name for program to schedule....why Nuyyo didn't make a live recording button I shall never figure that one out. Seems like a basic function of a vdr right?

Now I shall be able to manually schedule recordings without an EPG or guide in the tablo. Just look up the schedule on line for the network and shedule it by the time and tae. Done

Nah, its ok, it's not that active a thread, I will update post #1 eventually. Glad it works for you. It is the best ATSC OTA NextPVR web client for the RPi though since it doesn't need transcoding unless you enable AC3. My XMLTV extractor is still working even on the RPi, but that won't help you much.

I am running into a problem where only one Tuner works on my 4 Tuner Tablo in NextPVR. I am on windows, it is a fresh install of NextPVR dragging the TabloTV Extra 3.0 into the NextPVR folder and installing via CMD Prompt. When playing through Tablo i get all 4 Tuners. When playing through NextPVR it plays 1 Tuner then if i initiate stream another it would stop that stream and open the newer stream. I had set NextPVR to have 4 Max Connections within the device channels settings. Am i missing a setting somewhere in NextPVR. I took the M3U file from NextPVR and tried putting into Plex and i also only get 1 fully working stream. When two or more streams are going it jutters and loops in 10 Sec increments before moving forward then looping again.
The TabloTV Extra create a M3U file before going through NextPVR so I can input into Plex so the two systems could run somewhat independent of each other? Thanks again

Did you confirm that you could record 4 channels in NextPVR? I'd need to see the logs but if your main goal is to play the m3u from Plex I suspect the m3u file is the problem and I don't offer support to Plex PVR since it is a commercial app and users typically don't tend to donate for NextPVR forgetting that is is doing the work.

That all being said I might have to look at the Extra to see what is happening with multiple recordings.

Thanks I figured it is a M3U export stream issue. NextPVR only output 1 Tuner from the stream. There are options to separate the streams into xteve/threadfin utilizing &client=stuff at the end of the M3U link to create new links.

Yes using &client= is what control whether you get multiple streams. To do that you generate four m3u files.
