Martin,
Ok It looks like you and I were posting at about the same time when you talked about the actual error you got without the HDHR package installed. I guess maybe our posts crossed because I did not see it before. That was when you posted part of your log and I attached my log.
Thats a Windows Log "...Win32Exception ..." completely irrelevant to the Mac
I Installed that package that you "suspect" on my mac and no change. I first rebooted it, and the Kodi client. Then I tried with no joy. I even later re-scanned channels. I even cleared all Data on Kodi PVR client. Pi running NextPVR is perfectly happy with it and it was working before on the mac, but not now after using HDHomerun with TVMosaic. So not sure why you would think i need that library as I had uninstalled all that homebrew garbageware months ago, before ever putting NextPVR on the mac and it worked straight - away. BTW I have never once seen a 100% working hombrew app that actually works and integrates to the OS on Mac. Not even something as simple as gedit. I have ZERO confidence in hombrew apps on Mac. In fact it can even make a mess of a Mac causing other issues. I see no point in homebrew it does nothing but make a mess of a mac.
Since you really do not know the whole story about the Pi , you seem awfully quick to judge for some reason. And FYI the Pi was originally tested running from Micro SD card. Later it was all reinstalled to a real USB SSD. After some time of running that way is when it started freezing and dropping streams.
Whether I test with stream A or stream B is really irrelevant in fact it might be best if you avoid future replies to my posts if they will contain such judgement and negativity. Whatever I do or do not have installed now means nothing about what I want to do, it is simply what I am testing. You make this sound like a Kodi forum (OMG THERE IS A PIRATE STREM IN A LOG BAN THIS GUY!)
You should also understand that you said you "suspect". You did not say at any point it was required. There is also nothing that describes you as any more than a "Posting freak" , which does not mean you have an authoritative answer. Thats not even something like "honored poster" . Just because you post a lot does not mean you know anything at all. In fact from my experience it is often the most frequent posters making assumptions and giving bad information, much like you did on ASSUMING my Pi ran of an SD card. People like you are what makes forums like this difficult. You making assumptions that are incorrect then passing judgement on me or someone else only serves to male YOU look bad. BTW, you are in Canada what can you say about me, or where I am or what is legal or bootleg under the laws I live in? Thank God I am not in Canada; hail the queen of England. You must work for the RCMP enforcing US laws as the Canadian slave of the US Government? If not then what does it matter to you what I test with? Besides you are in Canada there is more piracy of US copyrights in Canada than in the USA.
And yes installing and using homebrew again made a mess of my Mac.
