Thanks.

Yeah, in the gbpvr folder with gbpvr.exe. Then whenever you hit update epg in gbpvr, it will run that .bat file first.

Yeah, the gbpvr folder is the main one and where the batch file needs to reside to operate automatically.

Cheers

mugun,

I had the same problem as you. Basically I just had to keep on emptying the cache, starting the config and emptying the EPG data, then repulling/updating for a while and it finally sorted itself out. I'm not sure what else to tell you other than to go through all the steps again, including the website setup.

Update: I installed an HVR 1600 last night and started having trouble with this scraper again. The XML file it creates is only 164kb, while older ones that worked were well over 6mb. So after fooling with it for an hour, I just signed up for SD Smile

Since the scraper does the same thing each time, any inconsistencies are probably due to the zap2it web site and what it is sending.

Maybe the web site works better during the day and is overloaded at night? Or vice versa?

I haven't had a problem yet.

Yeah, it worked for about a week for me.

$20 for a year subscription vs. free but spending 2 hours getting it to work became a no brainer for me. While I enjoy tinkering with this stuff, my time became more valuable, plus I needed to get the HVR 1600 running and wanted an EPG to aid in the process. I guess I am still only on the 7 day trial Smile

I'm having some odd problems with ZAP2XML, or in GBPVR, not sure which. I've got a number of programs set to record, some record without issue, others are offset by an hour. Looking at the produced XML file, the time seems right (11:30am) yet GBPVR is picking it up at 10:30am.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, as many programs record right, while a handful dont.

Any thoughts?

Yup, I'm giving up on these (cough) stupid (excuse me) scrapers...
I've singed up with SD as well. Its D/Led all the correct info and has recorded everything correctly so far... Thumbs up!

I never wanted to pay for the EPG service, but I'm tired of fighting with it, and getting inaccurate results...
