It works with the HVR-2250, but you need add a new section to the bda.ini file. This section is specified in a couple of threads. Search for 'HVR-2250' and you'll find the details.

Thanks Sub.
Please post the link(s)? Searching didn't pull up much for me.
Looking forward to giving this a try.

For a free program, this by far the most polished media application I've used. I'm definitely donating when I set up my PayPal account.

The only issue I found was when using live tv with the HD PVR. If the connected device switches resolutions, the signal is lost and I have to exit live tv and select it again. I tried the same scenario in graphedit and the issue doesn't appear there. Maybe an automatic refresh of the capture card is required?

The fact that I can only think up one problem with the app says just how good it is. Great work guys!

This issue occurs because of some odd things the HD-PVR does to the PCR time line in the capture file when the resolution changes. The Microsoft Demultiplexer doesnt like it. You can only avoid the problem in GraphEdit by using the Arcsoft demultiplexer, which is something I cant use in the app.

interesting! It's not even a big issue either way.

The easiest work around is usually just setting the cable or satellite box to always output 1080i (or 720p, whatever your preference).

Its not clear what you're asking. You cant use VMR7, but there are other renderer options.
