The patched Config.exe that is mentioned at http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=3 seems to fix the problem discussed there (works great for me!) but it's hard to find. It would help more users if it were advertised more prominently.

Since upgrading from the last 1.3 version to 1.4, I have had recurring issues with similarly named programs on the same channel in the same timeslot being scheduled. NCIS airs right before NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS and my season recording for NCIS is now picking up both. Similarly, Law & Order has the same timeslot as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on NBC and varies between Wed & Sat, so whenever SVU is on Wed instead of Law & Order, SVU is scheduled.

This behavior is undesirable, is anyone else experiencing this since upgrading?

The only thing I miss from the previous version that I had was the option to DE-SELECT the "auto-create folders when recording" option in Config. I prefer to have all recordings in one folder.

Is there an edit I can make to the config.xml file to make it so that all recordings stay in the root directory of the "recordings folder"?

The new version is great. After the install, Vista now starts up MUCH faster (saved like a full minute from log-in to "ready to go, all programs loaded").

I cant remember.

The key with TechnoTrend devices is making sure you copy "ttBdaDrvApi_DLL.dll" into the GB-PVR directory, otherwise it wont work.

If you having problems getting it working, please post in the support forum rather that in this release announcement thread.

The upgrade went well. After the upgrade I was trying to adjust the settings through the PVRX2 menu. I was able to choose the Skin but when I tried to change the Default Suspend, Defualt Recording view, or Startup behavior. I ended up with these errors:
