Probably an additional audio track with a voice-over describing what is happening on screen when no one's talking?

@OTAJunkie: Check LAV Splitter's settings, regarding audio and subtitle track's selection priorities. SAF has english as default tracks choosen. Whatever changes you make, will be replaced to the default one's when reinstalling/upgrading.
To fix that I have a .reg file with my personal settings, for post-install reconfigure.

Hi Hoborg

May I ask how you did this? Was it a change to some network settings? As I have just started getting a problem with my network.

When I am uploading files to my unraid server from another computer, all is well as long as my NPVR computer is off. As soon as the NPVR computer comes on the upload speed drops from 20-30mb/sec to 64kb/sec - not very useful when trying to upload 20Gb files. Pull out the network plug to the NPVR machine and all is OK again. It seems the NPVR machine has grabbed the entire bandwidth of the network (Gigabit) even when it does not need any.

Of course it may be some other reason - I am just trying to narrow down the possibilities - It has worked fine until recently.

Hi.
You can directly assign file extension (like *.AVI, *.mkv, etc...) to splitter in registry. So if you open your file, system auto open it by predefined splitter instead of detect it by itself. This can speed up file opening, but if you have for example *.avi renamed to *.mkv, system will fail to open it if predefined splitter doesnot support it too. And that did the trick for NAS sources.
SAF didnt change any network settings at all.

Hi all.
Anyone still using Monogram AAC or DivX AAC decoder?
I think both are obsolete now, fully replaced by LAV Audio decoder, so there are no reason to be still part of SAF.

What do you think?

I use LAV for all audio, it's great. (i.e I haven't had to think about it for months now.)
It handles all the UK BBC HD changes from 2.0 to 5.1 without problem and the downmix works well.
