Everything looks really nice.

I've implemented the transparency=100% and things are much clearer. The MVP users may be especially happy.

Best Regards,
David

P.S. I really liked the trick about the raid array failure while you made all those last minute changes. I'll use that on my next release.

Im thinking about getting the MVP soon and was wondering what you mean by "transparency=100%." Since you said that MVP users will be happy.

Also another thing I was wondering was with the custom MVP dongle can someone explain what that does or point me in a direction on info on it.

Thank you

There is a foreground transparency setting for the main menu that was introduced in the last release. With this release it is available for all the core plugins. When the transparency is set to 100% (actually opacity might be more accurate), the text looks sharper.

This setting is found in the skin.xml files.

Looking good sub, thanks for the update!
Deleting videos from the library works like a charm, and the other enhancements look very nice.

I see there’s a “Transcode” button in video library.
I've never used any of the transcode options before, so I’m a little lost trying to find the options and how the commands are called.
Can the user customize the options, or call a batch/script (transcode.bat) in this menu to remove commercials and archive with comclean or videoredo?

Thanks again,
Jim

I think it just calls the built-in transcoder. The same one that can be used to auto-convert after recording.

Are you using the default Blue skin?

It just takes me back to the main menu. I'm using the blue skin and the only panel is the next recording one (default).

Well - fiddeling with it, totally uninstalling and reinstalling VA and disabling and enabling the Plugins in config; I have actually ended up with a setup where I can now see the VA, and disabling and reenabling plugins now behaves reliably.

Kinda spooky road to that stability though - not quite reassuring just yet, but I'll bet on the new version for now anyway.
