yes we might try that, but that would have to be tomorrow for me, have to get some sleep now.
But I'm still wondering why it installs the dbox-plugin, because I choose the direct-source plugin. Afaik it did not install dboxrecorder.dll in the previous releases.
See you tomorrow.

I get the error when I'm closing GBPVR. It's running fine I think:confused:

Its just a file that I accidently included in the release. It isnt used unless you create a capture source set to use the Dbox Recorder Plugin.

Quote:Sorry guys, with all the problems people are reporting...
I actually think things are going very well, and very few problems have been reported that need fixing.

There are several plugins related problem, but this was to be expected with moving to .NET 2.0 and switching database. The authors of these plugins will fix these soon. To minimise problems on this front, I did give developers early access to this GB-PVR release (a couple weeks back), but not all of them took advantage of this offer.

So far the only issues that have been raised that need to be addressed are:

1) Comskip txt files are ignored (fix here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16130)
2) Original v0.97.7 package included an unused file in the plugins directory (dboxrecorder.dll). I've updated the package to remove this unwanted file. As far as I can tell, this has caused no issues.
3) Some users have an issue where it is saying a DLL is missing. We havnt yet worked out what DLL that is, or why it is only affecting a small percentage of users.

All in all, thats not too bad.

Yes I would agree, considering the amount of change under the covers, .Net 2 and New DB it has gone well, with pretty much all of the problems being plugin related.

I didn't see the option to convert the database to SQlite? Where is it found and are there any special instructions to doing the conversion?

Run the ChangeDatabase application. There is an option in there to tell GBPVR to use sqlLite over msaccess

The only problem I had was the Music Library 2 plugin and Psycik fixed that fast.(Thanks Psycik). All in all I would say it was a great build. My MVP seems much more responsive.
