My server is old, and can't render vrm9. I used to use the old exe because it used vrm7. Since this release doesn't have the old executables, how can I upgrade to vrm9 or get the new client running?

Sorry, your response made me dig further. I guess I've been away too long . I have the client running under the overlay manager.

Thx, the install was quick and easy and the build seems to be quite stable.

Thats not true, I'm able to install and have it work with the original .NET2. Are you sure you had vcredist_x86 installed?

I was thinking this about 30 mins ago, i am on X64 machine (windows 64bit), didnt installed the vcredist, forgot about that, however i still havnt installed it, just .NET2 SP1 on the X64 box (XP) it works, however not recorded anything as yet, but the main config and program works.

Many Thanks

UPDATE

I have tested this and its working (with latest Weather and WebCams2 plugins as well as recording).

.NET2 with SP1 but no VBC++ redist works fine on Windows 2003 X64 (R2) and XP x64 SP2 (theres no SP3 for X64), however to make sure it installs correctly you seem to need a PVR recording device already installed in to the system, if you install GBPVR with out this it seems to create an "install" bar that installs then rolls back 2-3 times when you run the config area.
Many Thanks

That means that your PVR recording device installed the VC+ redist.
