I think you were right to suggest that we loose the end of the first sentence about multi-tuners. It is going into specifics too early when we are still trying to describe the basics.

The multi-record thing slipped in because imilne quite rightly pointed out that this is important. I think what is difficult is that no-one can actually see these pages yet to get a feel for how it all may work. The multi-record will be part of the features page so I think it is alright to drop it from the 'taster/boiled-down' page.

I do realise it is difficult to discuss this stuff without something to actually see but we're still working through some design and technical issues so not quite ready to go 'public' yet. However once again a PM would give anyone a sneak preview of the pages for comments on the actual page content under current discussion.

so what we are trying to do is explain a little better the features of NPVR without getting too technical.

Under the heading of Televsion:

Support for all world wide TV standards (DVB-S/T/C, ATSC/QAM, Analog) with wide codec support (H.264, HE-AAC, E-AC3, AC3, MPEG2). Fast channel change with Live TV. Multi-record functionality based on transport stream based recording. Integrated EPG.

How can we word this more friendly and is there anything missing?
