I had the seasons recordings thing where the recorded programs went into the manual recordings folder. Seemed to go away once I was able to get a good zap2it guide update. Using 95.14

Sub, I noticed your post about fixing the "season recording showing up in manual recording" bug, I'm having problems where some recordings are simply not showing up at all under "ready". Just wondering if these two were related? I know the recordings are made because I can simply go look at them under explorer, and the video is fine, just doesn't list it for me to watch in gbpvr.

To be honest, I finished it a few days ago but I'm just worn down by the prospect of releasing it and someone saying 'oh, and there is this important bug that needs to be fixed now', and then having to go through it all again...

I hope everyone here appreciates what you do, I can see where this could drive you mad. Maybe you should work out some system to where you get all these bug reports in one combined load at set intervals, and only have one that actually cause non-functionality of the software as a whole addressed on here the way everyone has been doing it. Or you could just shut the site down and take a vacation for a while!! Smile

Its usually pretty clear to me if I need to fix something or not, even if a few users disagree. In this case, there were two bugs that absolutely needed to be fixed, anything else could wait.

Do it the "google - way" : release it as a beta. Or maybe release versions as a "stable" and "beta" until you're happy with that version to be proclaimed "stable". kind of what Debian does...

I hope you're not feelling any pressure because of bugs being found. I'm quite sure everybody is very happy with you being so kind to release your software for free! In addition to that you're also always there when people ask for help. Man do you sleep at all?

Take a few days off! ;-) We'll survive!

I'm not really feeling any pressure. The v0.95.14 release is actually pretty good with very few bugs. I'm just not quite up to facing doing another release yet. Its been a busy last week.

I have been! I've been playing with new hardware I got instead of looking at the release.
