Sorry, I still dont know what you're trying to ask me.

Ok, send me the connection details.

OK, I see what you're asking. Sorry, but the third-party file browser component I use doesnt support this. Just map a drive.

If interested, in the video archive plug-in I use the built-in file browser in .NET.

tipstir Wrote:Jeff, I think I spoke to soon about your plugin it now won't see my shared folders on network, but before it did, must be something has gone after I had disable it. So if all else fails I'll just have to move the data files over to my GBPVR Server slave drive for now...

Just a thought - the wife is using GBPVR at present so I can't try it but what if you go into my network places first in XP, click on add a network place and add the network shares you want to add to GBPVR (basically a shortcut to a network location) - do these appear in the browse list? Otherwise can you type a path - just type the UNC path eg \\server\share\subdir or whatever?

I'll help more if I can once I have access to the pc. My WAF is far too high at present and I can't get at the damb thing!Smile

Not sure if anyone have the same problem as i have. Since upgraded to the versions that requires .net 2.0 , live tv on second or third attempt(exit live tv and enter agin) produces blank (black) screen with cpu @ 100%. Gbpvr.exe seems to be hogging 100% of the cpu. However if i delete one of the two tuner that i am having, then i dont have the problem. Playing back of recorded file is ok.

It would be quite a bit of work, and I dont really have too much time available, but maybe in a future release sometime.

Can I help you somehow to make it translatable? I have some knowledge in different programing languages.

Unfortunately making the config app translateable is only really a task I could do (GB-PVR is not open source). Sorry.

renamed workgroup to be shown above...

As you can see if you highlight the workgroup it won't do anything just sits there. When you do the samething in Video Archive it opens the workgroup and shows all the network PCs then I can click on any PC on the network that has stored Video files.
Ok, I've made a change that will allow you to select a share. It will be included with the next build.

I'm pretty happy with the lack of bugs at this stage, so the next release will probably version 0.98 in a month or two.
