Ah, that may be the problem then. Try downloading from one of the mirrors and install it. Hopefully that will get you up and running.

I downloaded and installed the skinplugin 3.0.1. I still get the old "Applying Changes" messages. Is there way to uninstall the old version?

If you look in your gbpvr/plugins/ do you have any SkinPlugin.dlls in there? If so delete them.

Yes, I had a skinplugin.dll in my skins directory. I deleted it and rebooted my computer. I'm still getting the old "Applying Changes" logo. Not sure what else to do. Maybe I should just start from scratch and reinstall everything.

What files do you have in gbpvr/plugins/SkinPlugin? Should only have one .dll file.
Blue Racer Wrote:Maybe I should just start from scratch and reinstall everything. This maybe the best bet. Although I believe fatman_do has added uninstall options for the CSkin and SkinPlugin from the start menu (start->all programs->gbpvr->...). Worth a try.

I uninstalled everything to do with GBPVR and then deleted the devnz directory. I then reinstalled everything from scratch. GBPVR 1.0.16, PVRX2 release of Community skin and the skinplugin 3.0.1. I still have the same "Applying changes" logo and I still can't get the background to change on either my TV(mvp) or my pc. I've got to be doing something wrong. McBainUK or anybody else have any idea where I'm going wrong?

Are you using Vista? I've read on other threads that vista has a cache of all your files that you might need to delete.
Not sure if it's your problem, but it's worth a shot

No, I'm using Windows XP. Any other ideas. Thanks for trying to help me out.
