sub Wrote:Sorry, but Video Library is a directory based file browser, it doesnt attempt to flatten the directory structure to include directories at a lower level.

If you have the following, then you'll see these two movies listed, with metadata and cover art when you browser to c:\movies.

You see the cover art for this ripped DVD when you browse to c:\movies\movie1

Sub, I do not want to change the behavior of the gbpvr - but was wondering if I click on Movie1.avi can gbpvr run a batch file (instructions INSIDE Movie1.avi) that will "actually" execute c:\Movies\Movie1\?

Sorry, there is nothing like that. Movie1.avi is a video file, not some form of batch file.

Thanks for the update. I was in the process of setting up the older release on a 32 bit Vista system with the HPHomerun. I eventually want to set it up on my main HTPC which runs 64 Bit Vista Ultimate using the HDHomerun. Is this release compatiable with the 64 bit OS?

It is. I'm running it on Vista x64 with no issues.

Great to know. Right now, before I set it up on my HDPC which is 64 bit Vista Ultimate, I am trying to set up my other 32 Bit Vista Ultra PC. I just installed 1.3.7. I edited the bda config file and added the code

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 10151F74-0]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
TUNING_SPECIAL=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 10151F74-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 10151F74-1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
TUNING_SPECIAL=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 10151F74-1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

to the file. The next thing I did is go to the Capture Sources tab on the GB-PVR Configuration. I then added HDHomeRun source and under Recording Source I pick Digital Plug in and in my sttings I pick the entry for HDHomeRun I added to the bda config file. For EPG source I am lost as to what to add here and tried several things. What am I missing or doing wrong? Is this the correct way to configure my system?

Things had been working well enough for so long and it had taken alot of time and our new baby had arrived, so when I came along to check out the latest update, I had already decided I was only going to do it if there was a compelling reason.

sub Wrote:- added ability to record multiple channels from the same multiplex with same digital card.

I call this a compelling reason!!!! Thanks so much for adding this feature! Big Grin It's working sweet as. I'll be able to make good use of the 2nd tuner because freeview's channels are split over two frequencies and will be able to justify (to the wife) getting a large SATA hard drive in the next six months or so Big Grin

I have gotten around to applying KB919071 to fix stuttering after skipping and setting up my remote how I like it (after accidentally deleting the irremote.ini file a few months back).

WAF is going to go through the roof and I'm pretty over the moon as well. Thanks again - will make a donation when the finances free up again after xmas.

yay! thank you, thank you, thank you Smile downloading now Smile

Going to try for a remote server / client set up. Wish me luck. Tried it with media portal and although it works its still a bit slow and buggy even now it's at v1.0. I'm sure GBPVR will be much better Wink

I am just now trying the pvrX2 version for the first time, works great so far. I opted to uninstall an older version of gbpvr then a clean install of 1.3.7 configured it, then imported recordings. Kudos to sub for some great software.
