I'll look this over and see if I can use any of it. I didn't realize it was open source, that is awesome! Hopefully, i can figure out the window handle of the fullscreen netflix viewer, then i should be able to implement this.

The link in post #34 netflix_control would start the link in this post #107 netflix_silverlight_control.

I seen in this post that n_s_c looked like it referred to a bitmap image for button locations (?) I wonder if this is how the off screen stuff was done? Ill leave that up to you.

I can add this when i add the other change (see #4 below), since this will require a database change also. I'll add this to my to do list, I would also like to be able to sort the list by star rating and Rating (G, PG, R, etc.) this way I can find the kid appropriate shows when my daughter is awake.



I don't think this will be necessary after my change, see answer to #4 below.



Oops, I'll have to correct this little "feature." I accounted for this, i thought, by requiring the movie to be in your queue to use ctrl-R, but you apparently found the weak link in my plan



Yes, i still plan on adding this to the program, but it will require a database alteration, so I haven't been jumping to do it. But this is the next thing on my list of features to add. When you select a movie that is multipart, it will show a second screen that lets you select which episode you want to watch. I'm trying to figure out whether it willb e fast enough to just dowload the info each time the show is selected, or if I need to store the info in the database. I'll add this to my next Beta.

Also, here is the database builder, that I just finished testing (just put in the same directory as the other files). If you call this through your update EPG.bat file, it will keep your database up to date without having to run it on startup. Also, it is able to be minimized, so it would be best to use it to populate the database the first time, otherwise you can't really use your computer for an hour +/-.

Can you show me how you are calling this? I stuck it in updateepg.bat. Last night it should have ran. I just opened up the app as a custom app in gbpvr and its doing the long update process (would have thought it did its thing last night). Also I need to babysit it because it keeps saying "Netflix TX Destop - There was a error processing one of the videos (code Genre), please report... " A lot of times now, and it waits for a comformation (OK to be pressed). Maybe this is the reason it did not run last night on its own?

EDIT: I got tired of ok'ing the promts so I alt-f4 out of there. So I just ran this outside of GBPVR using windows explorer to navigate to the database builder exe, and it ran all by itself, still OK'ing prompts.

BTW Time remaining in the lower left sticks at 20 seconds and time elapsed 2:28 (way off)

Maybe run without error reporting?

I just realized something. In fullscreen, if you make a mouse move, the playbar pops up far enough that if you had a mouse positioned on any of the playbar buttons or timeline you could use them! I bet thats how its done! In the code in FFWD and RWND it has something about: move "about" 10 frames. And I bet there is a lil code to move the mouse with the play position on the timeline left or right of the last command so many pixels to advance or rewind. Only thing used is spacebar, all else are mouse positions, thats why they use autohotkey... I betcha!

I think if the program remains running for more than 60 minutes, windows kills the .bat, so it wouldn't update properly.

I ran into this same problem a while back and I thought I fixed it. I guess not. Did it give you the errors when you ran this from the main program? Also, what version of the desktop program are you using? Do you have it updating the star ratings, in options menu? One last thing, when you go to your Movieinfo folder, how many files are there (this gives you a rough estimate of the number of movies in your database)?

And good idea, I will get rid of the message boxes, maybe I'll error report to a balloon pop-up instead, so it doesn't pause the program.

I would probably need to create something VERY similar (as a separate program) to this program to use with my app, because the fullscreen viewer is not controllable from my application, so this may be kind of difficult. I'll look into it, but it is low on my priority list since the ff/rw and skip/replay works when not in fullscreen.

Yes I did. I unchecked both boxes since I am not clear on what they do anyway. I set options to 0 days, exited and re-ran the app and got only one error. I exited and re-ran the app again and no errors. Fixed?

But my question still stands kinda. How do you have yours set so say for example: Options set to 1 day... how do you ensure it will update with the EPG rather than when you enter the app? I don't see how you could avoid opening the app and it updating itself when you have a "guest" over to watch a liittle on demand if it failed during the middle of the night. If you didnt stay up until 2am (which I am sure you do working on this all the time) to set the day count in options? When does the clock start ticking when you set it in options?

You know, I don't remember now. I don't think anything responded because of the window name in focus or perhaps it was because the buttons moved around in the player. And since you had all the bases covered with keyboard commands and snapping to fullscreen I didnt even bother to try to get it to work. It worked before with or without Whurstons plugin actually quite well. I could easily retry it. I am wondering now if I can simply rename Netflix Control= and [Netflix Control] to Movie Viewer= and [Movie Viewer]? Either Netflix Control or Netflix Silverlight Control did the auto fullscreen thing too, but lately on the Sage forums it was saying something changed. If I knew what did what in both executable's it might make it easier. Do you have any suggestions from the code? I will fiddle with it and let you know.
