Thanks Greg do you use --sunday or just record 60 minutes. Nothing was monitored before Mulaney so it looks like you weren't checking fox so I assume 60 Minutes. I had the same game monitored SP002981380000 and it finished early.

We had 60 minutes and the two after that, they all got extended. Now that was cool HUGE WAF. I took the credit for that.
Did not use -Sunday

Nice job

New version uploaded to the wiki,

better handling of one-off recordings
fixed four hour limit on monitoring
added new sports, NBA Basketball, 2014 World Series, NASCAR Racing, Formula One Racing
better resume handling

Still looking for users outside North America to help test monitor F1 I need more EPG info to help match.

Thanks Martin for the update. I have upgraded to the latest version of NextEnd and modified my .bat files to match your recommendations. Hopefully all will go well this Sunday.

I'll probably do an update before then to use a folder other than C:\TEMP that I will clean up daily

Looks like I should use this -

start /b "C:\Program Files\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --oid %3 --postgame +5 --resume

To add 5 minutes for a total of 15 minutes.

Also does this run all the time? not any different than the Sunday command line in PostUpdateEPG.bat ?
The Sunday command is the same just runs on Sunday?
Lot's of games during the week.

Thanks
Greg

No you want ---postgame 15 to get 15 minutes. You miised something else but you should be able to use the line as the batch file adding the optios you want.

start /b "" "%PROGRAMFILES%\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --oid %3 --postgame 15 --resume

Parallel Processing runs when a recording starts. If it is a valid sporting event or the preceding sporting event is run it monitors until the event ends. When the event end a .stop file is created.

If it doesn't find a running event it looks for the.stop file that has the time delta for that event.

--sunday mode simply runs and creates the .stop file(s) for the other mode to read. The rest of te week it logs what is monitored.

New update on the wiki, C:\Temp no longer used

- store .stop files in Plugins\NextEnd
- cleans up old .stop files
- support for CFL Football

We have the same complaint. It seems the networks regularly step on the schedule, even if the games don't go long. Don't understand why they don't allow more time for the following shows. We now record another hour of whatever follows just to be sure to get the shows we want. I would be happy to help test this.

I decided I wanted it enough that I did it anyway and a few people are interested and have tested it. it is working pretty well for me and it is on the wiki now.

One nice feature in 3.3.8 is that all analog tuners including old style analog composite/svideo and HDPVR/Colossus benefit from multiirec so if you extend one show and the following show is being recording you don't stop.
