Interesting.... this looks VERY similar to the error that I am having whenever I try to start live tv (I posted about this in the MVP forum). I too have XP SP2 and a linksys router (BEFW11S4); things I have tried, without success:
- Switched the dongle.bin for an older version (seems more stable overall, but I still have no live tv).
- Disabled the SP2 firewall and the AV.
- Deleted the gbpvr exclusion from the firewall and re-added it.
- Played around (and around and around....) with preplay delay times, etc.
As I say, all without success, so any pointers are more than welcome to getting my tv back!
I have tried to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling the whole thing because it would be a major PITA, but if it would help I'm considering it....
Incidentally, As I am sitting typing this, gbpvr.exe is at 40% cpu usage and 78meg - and I am doing nothing. Not watching anything, not recording anything; does this sound normal? I don't recall it ever being above 10% when it was "doing nothing"...
