First go into uidroid settings (hold ok on the main screen) and the select ffmpeg decoding, there could be an issue with the Shield playback of opus or how you configured Android sound.

If no sound create a recording  and the stop it after a minute and try to play the recording in uidroid.  If there still is no sound post an link externally on OneDrive or GoogleDrive and I will have a look/listen.

Note in your logs you had reverted yauiclient to 1.1, you should be using the new version.

I didn't need a recording of you watching a video, I trust that there is no audio for you. I want a true NextPVR manual recording that I can download and try here.

OK, so sound works fine, I couldnt figure out how to start and stop recording easily in uidroid, I could select from the drop down but couldnt end. I had to end manually.  Sound works fine, and works in kodi too.

- from the guide, hit OK and Quick record
- from What's new find the recording hit OK and then Cancel

Anyway so it works in recordings but not Live TV? If so maybe its a buffer issue at the server, it may capture video before audio is capture. I doubt I can test that but maybe consider adding something like this to your extra

I assume I need to upload it somewhere so you can get all the metadata from it. as youtube wouldn't work?  is there a chance the non exoplayer version would work?

Thanks but I doubt there is a any point in uploading it because I would fake stream it from a file but that is more like a recording. I told your earlier where you might put a recording if I needed it.

I played around with hsn.com and maybe it is just easier to try -vcodec copy -acodec aac instead of -codec copy
