Try updating this file. It moves from an asynchronous stop (with timeout), to a synchronous one.

This should help us see in the logs if it's just taking a long time to stop, or never stopping. If never stopping, we could look at using procdump.exe to dump the DeviceHostWindows process to a .dmp file, which I can load in the debugger. I might be able to tell what is blocking it from stopping.

Hello sub, i am a little bit confused, of what i shall do.

At the moment i am running with the original devicehostwindows.exe but the new nshared.dll and the new .ax file.

Shall i again use the new devicehost? And exchange the unmanged file?

Shall i test the setting "keep primed" or not? Or only test what happens with the unmanaged.dll ?

I'd remove that registry. Update Unmanaged.zip with the new version attached. Confirm it still has the problem or not. If it does, post the logs, and I'll provide follow up instructions for using procdump.

If we make no progress on this, then the fall back is try using 'keep primed', which hopefully avoids the issue.

OK,

testing with the three "latest" files and the new unmanaged files. (Also the new devicehostwindows.exe included in lastest.zip)

Feedback soon.

After step one, you can make and cancel a recording. Then send the logs and we can quickly tell if it helps or not which migh avoid the BSOD.

Problem: With all files updated, the tray icon does not show any tuners anymore, and i cant start a recording in KODI. In the webui from npvr, the tuners are visible.

Just rolling back to the release, and the check if the unmanged.dll is the reason (think so, but did not save it)

Yes, the new unmanaged.dll lets the tuner disapper in the tray icon.

And also the webinterface says: "no tuners available" if i want to start a station.

So i cant test it. Old unmanaged.dll fixes the problem.

It should have been compatible with the release you're using. I've attached another go at it.

OK, with this unmanaged.dll it worked.

Started 2 recordings, and ended them manually.

Logs attached.

From what I can tell, it does look like they stopped ok. It will be useful hear whether your EPG update completes successfully too.

Ideally I'd want you to be successfully using that latest.zip (https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid597616) + unmanaged.dll (https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid597649) I posted, since they're current components in my build.
