hi all ,

i downloaded this program today and set it up on a pc with capture card ,

all went well and everything worked not a problem ,

i then setup another pc which is a quiet pc for the lounge room , it has the same digital card as the first ,it has windows xp SP2 ,
i install the required software and so forth , it finds the card not a problem , scans and finds all channels and i add it to the enable list , it asks me if i want to do a dvb scan for the EPG and i select yes , it goes off and scans for about 10 mins and all seems fine, but doesnt matter how many times i do this it does not show up in the web interface like it does on the other box , and i have done a fresh install of the os , the software , everything several times and still no luck ,
can anyone help me out ?

I meant from the TV Guide. All I want to know is that do you have channels listed in the TV Guide with empty listings or no channels?

I can't provide any practical help for this particular issue, but it would probably get more attention as a post in the appropriate product support forum, rather than in a 14 month old thread announcing the availability for a now outdated version of GB-PVR.

Hi Folks,

I'm a total newbie to the tuner world, having just put together a new system (Core i7, ASRock X58 Extreme3, Crucial SSD for system), upgraded to Win 7, and bought my first ever tuner card (Hauppage HRV-2250). To make matters worse I've had Dish Network all along and never had to mess with digital TV, etc. - I live in the mountains where air-born reception is a lost cause. It didn't take long to see Media Center wouldn't be flexible enough, so I ran across this excellent looking program. But I'm having some intro problems, and having trouble finding the relevant info.

I first tried V 1.5.33 but it seemed to automatically sense a card that was not the right card and wouldn't let me change it, plus it didn't seem to want to scan the analog mode of the tuner. So then I backed up to V 1.47.1, which went much better. I'm probably just missing something, but whenever I go to Settings in the main program it won't let me change anything without entering a PIN, but it doesn't seem to give me any way to enter the PIN (when I click on the edit box nothing changes). It doesn't matter what I enter into Config/Misc2. Personally I'd like to disable that function altogether, anyway, as I'll be the only one using this system. It says the directories are locked, but I don't see a file called "protect.txt" anywhere on my computer. What am I missing?

Thanks Truckloads, Frank

This kind of questions should be posted in the support forums, eighter gbpvr- or npvr-support.

do you have a place for you and fiancee to get ready before everything?

Directions to the reception if it is at a seperate location or programs?

Sparkling cider for the toasts since there is no champagne?

Marriage License....thats a biggie

Glasses other than toasting flutes for drinking? Tables, chairs? people will want to sit

groomsman gifts?

A holy crap kit....sewing supplies if you tear a hem or something, stain remover, nail polish for panyhose runs, etc. Some brides do bathroom baskets that include things like a hairbrush, mouthwash, asprin for guests.

You sound pretty set though.
