I'm having 2 problems.

1) If the downloaded series XML file in the XML_Cache folder is a zero-byte file then the program errors out. In order to get around this and to be able to continue to use Ultra I had to revert back to an previous version (2.0.3418.22741). Is it possible to put a check in for a zero-byte series XML file?

2) When uploading the _SeriesID.txt file and the server is unavailable, Ultra errors out. The XML file is enhanced and does get properly written so I'm still able to use Ultra, but I get the following error message. Can a check be done to see if the server is available?

Can you guess why you get 0 byte files? Is it 0 byte series.xml or episode.xml files? Is it gettings 0 bytes because you aren't connected to the Internet? (using dial-up, not connected)

With the new version, both the video and audio tags are in the output xml file.

What about the <star-rating> blocks? My output file still doesn't have any of those included.

I found the problem. I'll be releasing a new version which handles Star-ratings properly soon...

This occurs whether I'm using a highspeed or dial-up connection. It is one of the episode files that is being returned as a zero-byte file. According to the _series.txt file, it is the episode file for Monster Moves (monster moves=84058). If I delete the file, it just gets downloaded again as a zero-byte file. I am able to download other episode XML files without any issues and there are no failed fetches.

I'm guessing that this zero-byte file has existed for me for awhile. But the problem with Ultra only started occurring with version 2.0.3427.27026. One of fixes with this version was adding a check to determine if the XML file had a correct header. While this check seems to work, it seems to have introduced a new problem when there is a zero-byte file. The prior version (2.0.3418.22741), while not having the check for a correct XML header, does not get hung up on a zero-byte XML file and is able to complete it's enhancing without a problem.

Let me know if yo need any more details or want me to check something.

Hate to say it but there is still a problem with the latest version (2.0.3440.40129) regarding the zero-byte file.

It now errors out on the same file. The entries from the log file are

This may explain why a zero-byte file was getting created in the first place (this message was not previously in the log file).

I guess it's back to a previous version for me.

Is there a way to tell Ultra just skip this file?
