OK solved that one. Feedback for next release: Schedules direct allows me to long in with a mixed-case username. When I enter the mixed-case username in GBPVR I get the error - if I enter as all lower case in GBPVR, all works fine.

NEXT PROBLEM: GBPVR crases if I turn on "plugins enabled" even though the only ones checked are TVGuide, Recordings, SearchGuide, and Exit. How do I correct this so I can download new plugins and enable them? Thanks again!

Sorry, one more upgrade glitch: when select a program to watch from the TVGuide, I get "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

Zip and post your logs directory in the support forum.

The schedules direct website allows mixed case, the data feed server does not. It is not an issue with GB-PVR.

Hello again. Here is the log file from today. I've removed everything from the plugin folder which seems to have solved that problem. I'm still not able to watch TV however. Thanks!

I see the error but I'm don't know the cause. You may have to wait for sub on this one.

Quote:When I "update EPG", I get the same not configured correctly dialog (with many Zap2It references) and the "updating EPG" dialog says it's requesting listing information from Zap2It.
Yeah, I get that too. I am running the current version of gbpvr with th e msi update if any of that matters. I have deleted all reference to zap2it, saved, exited out and opened the config, but I still get the same error.

Is there a file in my config itself I need to delete?

btw, if I could name a kid gbpvr, I would Big Grin
Thanks Sub for making this the best open source program I have ever used. Keep up the great work man.

When I try to copy GBPVRBackendCommon.dll to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr I get a message that it is already in use.
The recording tray is not running nor is any other gbpvr application. what is strange is that the file in question doesn't appear in that directory even though it asks if I want to replace it. (yes, I am viewing hidden files)
I run Vista Ultimate, but that should have no effect.

You need to stop the GB-PVR Recording Service and close the GB-PVR Tray app. You can stop the service with gbpvr\stop.bat
